How is a qualified signature different from a trusted profile?
A Polish trusted profile mainly works with public administration. A qualified signature has the force of a handwritten signature and is recognized across the EU, including in commercial and cross-border use.
Can I have the signature on my phone?
Yes — we offer Certum SimplySign, a cloud qualified signature used from a phone or computer without a physical card.
How long is the certificate valid?
Usually 1, 2 or 3 years. We'll remind you before it expires.
Can you issue it to a foreigner without a Polish ID?
Yes. We verify identity using a passport or other document and handle everything in English.
